Ryan, The whole EVcast website was unaccessable from about 10:00 to 11:00am. today.LaterJohn C. Briggs
Hey John - Apologies to you and any other members who tried to listen in live. EVcast.com had some unfortunate (and extremely rare) downtime this AM. As of yet, no one has been able to prove it's my fault...Innocent until proven guilty!
Ryan- I do tech support for a living- the end user is ALWAYS to blame;-) Good job flying solo today- interesting news to see other companies start to see the (hopefully) writing on the wall and begin the preparations so their buisinesses can segue into an EV dominated (again, hopefully;-) transportation industry. And, with appologies to Rick in Houston, this is Paul C from Austin, the Green Capital of the World! (Well- at least in the US http://cityguides.msn.com/citylife/greenarticle.aspx?cp-documentid=4848625 )
Thanks for posting my link, Ryan. I'll definitely be interested to see how the air car turns out. It's not your traditional battery-powered EV, but the principle is basically the same (just storing the electrical energy in compressed air rather than chemical batteries).
If they can produce a 6 seater for $17,800, that will be a good option for people who can't afford the $30k EVs and plug-in hybrids of the next few years.
