Army EV's (golf carts?) from: http://www.ezgo.com/

Coulomb Technologies to install smart charger installations in California - no Bo, I do not think it will work at a Gas Station- EV's need a plug where they will be parked for awhile- gas station stops are usually about 5-6 minutes long- not long enough to significantly charge the battery.  Besides, do we really want to be charging batteries in close proximity to gas fumes;-)

Given:

  1. GM is burning through cash at a rate of $5B per month
  2. GM says it will run out of cash before 1/20/2009
  3. GM says its share of a $25B bailout package would be $10B-$12B based on its market share

Even if they get the bailout, wouldn't that only give GM another 2.5 months of cash at the current burn rate (i.e. until April 2009)? What happens then?
