Not really related to the PodCast, but there is a cool marketing video for Better Place.

Does anyone recognized the car in the video?  Is it CG?

Thanks
John C. Briggs

Grrrrrreat show, everybody! Given the simplicity of electric vehicles and the inertia of entrenched industry forces, I think Tesla will be the model for the future of motoring. Future cars will come from non-car industry companies. EVs are an electrical appliance and white goods manufacturers have an unprecedented window of opportunity here.

Current car manufacturers are showing no leadership whatsoever and the vapourware offerings at Frankfurt only confirm 'no change in behaviour'. Personally, I hope it will be Apple that cracks the market open and Ford, GM, Toyota etc. will sink without a trace.

Porche went into 4WD because they recognised it was a market where people were prepared to spend >$120,000 for a car. Hopefully they'll follow Tesla's lead, service the luxury market and the technology will trickle down to 'you and me' car buyers.

This is a nice live stream. The reports were really good. I would just like to comment on the Toyota Prius. I really like the bedside of this car. Really comfortable..
