This week we have Bob Lutz and Chris Paine put on boxing gloves and enter into the ring in a literal clash of the titans… Look at the date of this podcast.

We actually revisit what it is like to be one of only a hand full of EV owners in the Mid-Atlantic region and the great responsibility that comes with it. I, of course, put the experiences even though I loved them, in a negative light and talk about the lost weekends, the exhaustion of spending all your time talking about the vehicle and the occasional repairs needed when encountering overly energized kids, while Eric Lado points out the positive aspects of meeting crowds of people, the meat delivery man who stops his truck in front of our house, which is not one of his delivery stops, and rings the doorbell hoping he can talk to the owner of the electric car parked outside. Stories and experiences abound when you own an electric car. Come give a listen.

Don't just listen to the EVcast -- experience and be a part of it!  Join us at 1:00pm Eastern, M-F, in our live video broadcast and chat along with us!

EDUCATING CONSUMERS by engaging and entertaining them is going to be key in bringing Electric Cars into the mainstream mindset of future and current car owners. A cable TV program is a great solution to reaching the masses to help us move forward more quickly...

Hey Joe and Eric! Theses stories made me laugh! I remember some of them, and had a few of my own. As far as educating the public, I couldn't agree more. It's been my experience that people have a voracious appetite for EVs which really is inspiring although can be tiring (with all that wiring??...ouch!) I've always thought a show on the DIY netwwork or something would be awesome. Now that would go mile to educate the public. Now to find the $$ to produce...
