Great show.
By the way, downunder we say Jag-you-are or just Jag.

"Self charging" - This term, or similar is used in the Prius literature I was given when taking one for a test drive, and during the test drive, when I asked "Can I plug it in to charge it?" the very confident sales lady answered "You don't have to, because the petrol(gas for you guys) motor charges the batteries for you."

   So I am listening to the podcast.  You get the point where you have to say "Coulomb" and bang, you hit the nail right on the head.  Am before I can think, "great job with the pronunciation Ryan,"  Miss Electric jumps in to confuse you.  Good for you and Bo sticking up for yourselves.

    I was listening to a YouTube videoon chargers and the interviewer kept saying "column" chargers.

    Perhaps we should just say "The company that makes ChargerPoint stations".

Ford-built Jaguars were some of the best looking cars on the roads, and their performance was way underrated.. I've had at least one mid-60's or later in my stable since the 70's. The early Jaguars each cost me more in maintenance than what I paid for them.

That is, except for the last one - a Ford-built 96 Jaguar XJ6. Ford kept the styling and the bulletproof motor, but dumped the Lucas (prince of darkness) electrical parts. We put 187K miles on the 96 Jag with only regular maintenance. Later models with the Mustang 5.0L motor were even better performers and even more reliable.

Ford sold Jaguar and Range Rover in 2008 to Tata Motors, which helped Ford avoid the government handout route taken by General Motors and Chrysler. In comparison, would GM be better off today if they had sold Oldsmobile, Pontiac, and Saturn brands instead of closing them?

16KWH Chevy Volt

Did I miss any? 
One thing that interests me is that the Chevy Volt battery is similar in size to the batteries of the BEVs.  There is something wrong with that in my mind.  An E-REV and BEV should not be close to the same size.  Either the BEV batteries are too small or the E-REV battery is too big.  With the range complaints I have heard on the iMiEV, perhaps Chevy has the winning combination.

OK, I am late to the party on the whole Nissan LEAF MPG thing, but I just found a post that makes it clearer and explains why it is so wrong.

Leaf MPG in five easy steps by EPA Rules
1) 4.2 Miles/KWH electric fuel efficiency
2) 142 MPH convert electrical energy to gasoline energy with no losses
3)   45 MPG if electric is made from fossil fuel, 33% efficiency at production,  96% in transmission
4)  54 MPG Well, gasoline production isn't 100% efficient so divide by 83%
5) 358 MPG, multiply by 6.67 because the EPA thinks  EVs are cool !!!!

  You know, if the EPA wants to play these games for CAFE purposes, that is fine, but the car companies should not be setting false expectations by publishing a number 6.67X the real number.

Sorry about the Fisker, Bo- I do hope they can deliver, literally and figuratively, by the end of the year- but I think Fisker, and others, are finding out just how hard it is to produce not only a new car, but one with a new propulsion technology.

Ok- any story that has ZAP and UFO in the tag should tell you all you need to know!  Don't hold your breath on this one;-)

And lastly, ouch!  Rough feedback on your Aptera spoof!  I guess the offended gentleman just doesn't realize that Bo and Ryan are an aquired taste:-)
