Check out Elon Musk calling someone a douchebag. http://www.autobloggreen.com/2009/04/11/video-elon-99-per-cent-sure-of-doe-loan-calls-nyt-writer-a-hu/
I would have paid for that but he gave it away for free. Who said Elon was only sucking off the T.t of the wealthy.

Personally, I hope Tesla gets the loan, builds the model S, and repays the loan with interest. This would be a good deal for everyone involved.
I want the EV biz to prosper, but I'm not so happy with Tesla as one of the faces of the industry. I greatly appreciate the concept of giving EVs a new sporty image. However, Tesla also tends to come off as arrogant, wasteful, less-than-honest, indecisive, elitist, etc. I wish they would just be less obnoxious and just crank out some nice cars. Instead, Tesla is more of a soap opera with management struggles, constantly shifting prices, slippery specifications, etc.
Edit: Guest . . . regarding the Alias, not much is known since they showed it at a Lousiana auto show. However, we do know that Zap is entered as one of the approved teams in the X-prize contest, so there will be at least one Alias driving around.
Dag,
It could be worse, ZAP could be the face of the EV industry.LaterJohn C. Briggs
John, I cannot argue with that! LOL!
