Hello Gents, What possible sensation could Dr. Dennis have been expecting from the generator kicking on to charge the electric batteries? It's a plug-in series hybrid not and parallel hybrid. I enjoy the show! Thanks

Bo and Ryan,

Home Depot has a free national CFL recycling program.  You just need to bring your burned out CFLs to one of their stores and they take care of the rest. There may be other similar programs out there as well.

Bo & Ryan, The Seeking Alpha article you discussed was written by John Peterson, former CEO of Axion Power International. If you delve into Mr. Peterson's many articles on the subject of batteries, his primary area of expertise and interest, he enters the discussion of electric vehicles as they relate to battery demand, not because he is following electric vehicles per se. His posits that the hybrid electric technology, like the Prius et. al., is an excellent technology. In one of his posts he suggests the hybrid diesel is his dream vehicle. But he maintains vehemently that no battery technology is available or even foreseeable to support widespread use of pure electric vehicles at an affordable price. If price is no object then we can build it, but given the price of lithium batteries (remember your conversation with the CEO of Imara) no widespread electric vehicles will be possible for many years. Keep up your good work. Rick from Plano, TX
