I'm sorry for my mindless chatter near the end of the show. In case you couldn't all notice I was DEAD TIRED and it was 11pm. I'm not a night owl that's for sure.

Great show though. We covered all kinds of EV related topics and I'm now fully up to date. We even beat AutoblogGreen to a story or two!

Still, I'm glad we did the show early: I had a terrible cold for a few days afterwards!

Nikki,
Don't worry about turning 30.  That will not change anything in your life.

Be terrified of having a baby, that will change everything.

Nice PBS show on EVs plans in Denmark. Better Place, don't cha know.

http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/544/index.html" href="http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/544/index.html">http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/544/index.html">http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/544/index.html">http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/544/index.html

So here is the plan.  In Denmark, ICE cars are hit with a 180% sales takes to reduce the use of cars.  This is mostly because 100% of the fuel is imported and the government was tried of being dependent on unreliable foreign supplies.  This makes a commuter car something like US$50,000 in Denmark and it cost US$80 to fill the small gas tank.  The Danish government with wave the 180% on EVs and bingo.... EVs are price competitive with ICE cars in the upside down world of Denmark.

Oh, and Denmark can make its own electricity using wind power.  Seems like a good plan.
