Great show guys... and welcome Sean. Bo I think you need to give Shannon a few more points...at least she gets to drive these new cars. Oh and Bo, The GP Batteries is a company in the Gold Peak Group out of Hong Kong.
I hope to actually watch you live sometime. The only problem is - your 1pm is my 4:30am! 'downunder' in Australia.  I'll have to plan an early night so that I can get up and join you at this unearthly hour.

Hopefully I see you next Tuesday (Wednesday in Australia)

See ya for now....
Eric.

I had to put my Iphone down.  I am like a lab rat pressing the "on" button for the electrode in my orgasm brain center.  Refresh theeestory.com refresh theeestory.com refresh theeestory.com.  Will this be the moment eestorblogger reveals the actual live verifiable presence of an eesu? The world will skip a beat. The toilets will flush the other way downunder and lines will get shorter at airports if Dick EE Weir produces more than disappointment.

But for now we have the beat of the Eestor rap.  Oh my Ivory white brothers what genius you have unleashed.

Here is what the Eestorblogger had to say about your weir rap. http://theeestory.com/topics/4676  Maybe he is loosing his sense of humor by being such a believer.  Why don't you interview him and ask him about the inside info that he has and why it has made him a total believer.

Eestorblogger:

"I won't pretend this is funny. It had the right idea but floundered.

There is a good eestor rap out there waiting to be made.

Maybe if dick gets bored some night writing patents he will hit the turn table. Electric.

Shannon's test drive of the Ford Fusion, and the hybrid Altima review, is on her web site:  http://www.misselectric.com/

Shannon will hold firm to the 'no plug, no deal' mantra, despite test-driving the hybrids- she didn't inhale (the gas fumes)!

No EESU from EESTOR...yet!  Oh ye of little faith!  I wonder if I could get an interview from someone there- I am tempted to try;-)  Your EESTOR rap was very good, but the background tune sounded like Beverly Hills Cop!

I argued this on the Blogger's site- I don't think EESTOR will ship an EESU until it is an inexpensive one off of a working production line- to ship a prototype beforehand would tip their hand to competitors, and if they are having a problem getting one made via an inexpensive production line, they would just set themselves up to have another company reverse-engineer the prototype and trump their work with a patent that would 'improve' the process.  On the other hand, if EESTOR can hit the ground running with inexpensive EESU's ready to roll off of a tested and working production line, it will make it hard for a competitor to catch them for some time.

I think Sebastian's photo was from the beginning of the movie 2001- its the Obelisk, not a pyramid!

We are not going to see many EV's sold in the US this year (sorry, BO, but I don't think you will see the Fisker delivered this year)- but it will be a noteworthy year, anyway, I believe, as we see a lot more actual pre-production models, and, of course, delivery of the Volt, and probably the Leaf, which will spur the others to continue down this electric path. 2011 and 2012 will be the big years for delivery of EV's to consumers!

I think Smith Electric Vehicles is actually based out of the UK:  http://www.smithelectricvehicles.com/

I am not surprised by the BYD issues- I was surprised by Buffett's investment in them- they have cheap labor, but they also have cheap products.  As a comparison, Buick (that's right- GM's Buick) increased sales by something like 67% in China, and has been asked by China to make the Volt available there.  Wait until BYD, and maybe even the Coda, try to prepare these cars according to the very strict safety standards of the US- I think they will have some problems with this.

You bring up a very good point, Bo, on the Ford series Hybrid vs the Volt vs a pure EV- is it just about saving money?  Let's hope not.  I know in the long run a pure EV will be cheaper, overall- but it is not cheaper now.  I just hope the American Public will be able to take the long view of this and make a right decision instead of just an easy, short-term financial one.

Whew!  A lot to type tonight!  but one more, extremely important item-

Y'all better be tuned in on Thursday night, and root for the Texas Longhorns to win their second National Championship in five years over the Tide of Alabama.  Hook 'em Horns!

Or Paul my friend...maybe it juuuust doesn't work as claimed.  Paul you have outed yourself as a Cedar Park resident.  Just get close to eestor and start asking everyone you meet.  Do you know someone that Works at eestor?  What have they said about when their product will be out?

See if you are the first to know the truth...even before B.  Mahahahaheeeha.

Hi Fred!

I live in Austin just few miles away from their offices.  I would be very surprised if the science did not work- the big question, to me, is whether they can commercialize it- i.e. can they roll them off the production line at $3500 an EESU- if they can't- if it costs $35,000 per EESU, it will be a very cool, but niche, product.

But I've been wrong before;-)

Paul:

So you don't feel like cruising the local bars around quiting time to see if you can meet eestor workers or whom ever else you want to meet?

LOL!  I am not really a cruise the bars type of guy!  One beer and I would be done;-)  and there are LOTS of bars in Austin/Cedar Park- besides, I do not think the the handful of engineers they have working there will be so easily identifiable.  And while I am pretty sure Dick Weir lives in Cedar Park, the others working there could live anywhere in Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock, or even futher out.  Of course, this may just be your way of saying 'Hey Paul- here is a good excuse to go have a brewsky or two;-)'

Sure what ever it takes to be happy...Maybe if you got the janitor drunk you would be the first non-eestor employee to see an eesu and watch him vomit on it and be the first person to see someone electricuted by eestor?

Possibly the worst rap I've heard since the intro to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but don't stop the shinnaniganisms.
