The first Leaf to Northern California?  Hmmmm?  I am predicting that the this first customer will be Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger!

I think the Volt is either breaking even or barely making a profit- which is one reason the cost was set at $42,000.  It is the Leaf that is not going to be profitable at their current cost of #34,000- they are counting on economies of scale over the next few years to make a profit as their costs come down.

Interesting about the current Pope- he was chosen for his conservative bent- but he has the vision to look at greening the Vatican- good for him!

I like the PSAs from Plug-in America- I think the idea is that the Oil company 'image' is made up- you see the handsome face of Fabio instead of the ugly face of Oil.

My favorite PSA so far is the Windy one;-)

I agree, Bo- would probably not need the 240 volt charger for the Chevy Volt- but, on the other hand, it would be nice to have for future EVs.

Vectrix 100 mile range upcoming... but at what speed?

The painted Tesla- I don't know- reminds of the Hippy vans from the 60's, but more so- not my cup of tea for a car color- or colors;-)

Why in the world would anyone ruin a Tesla like that?

Hi Bo and Ryan,

Video Fabio vs FOX on Electric Cars

We must be honest with you - we did not get the latest PSA "Hype" message from Plug In America clearly at first. "Cell Phone" is the classic for us, but now with more and more publicity we must admit, that Fabio cult figure works very well by promoting the Electric Cars.
FOX trashing Electric Cars and Obama together with healthy style is a very tasty treat - it will bring more people to the idea to try it. Announced by Hertz Electric Cars rental program will provide the good opportunity to test the future, which is happening now.
Regards,
Sufiy.
