"it's actual a series parallel..."

Hybrids are either series OR parallel.  The Volt is a series hybrid.  Prius is a parallel hybrid.

I look forward to your analysis of the Tesla on Thursday, and perhaps some interviews with the people of Tesla- if you can't wrangle an interview with Mr Musk or one of his associates though, perhaps you could interview one of the new owners of a Tesla- that might provide more insight anyways- Tesla itself might even act as an intermediary for this- good PR and all that;-)  Good luck with it!

I think you said Fisker is in competition with the Volt. I think you mean Tesla. I find it similar that Fisker is also looking to make a sedan, similar to the Whitestar.

I was wondering about the supercap you saw at the show. Do you have the name of the company? I really like the idea of the supercap due to very long life, unlimited recharges, ultra-fast recharging, no battery monitors, 10-20% more efficient, better regenerative braking, and possibly use lower cost materials. I wish McCain abandoned the battery X-prize and went with a yearly $10 million supercap x-prize with the requirement patents would be gpl.

Best supercap I found so far JEOL premlis at 30 Wh/kg, similar to a lead acid battery.
