the TH!NK is very practical. I hope they become available in the USA someday soon. In the mean time Nisan is releasing the LEAF so that may be our only choice for a while.

The Tesla is not for everyone or me but it is making a lot of people and companies see that new advanced battery EVs are really good and can be anything we need them to be.

My lithium electric bicycle is about the most I can afford today and it's super efficient.

Good show Nikki!  Enjoyed the chat with Mr Bones and enjoyed his web site.  For some reason the link to the Th!nk Youtube video did not work well from your post, evenafter copying and pasting it, so here it is again:

I had seen this video before, but did not realize it was from Ricard's site- gives a good preview of the Th!nk.  It remains an interesting car- if they can move quickly to manufacturing, keep the cost reasonable without leasing the battery, and of course make it well, they could well be a good bet as a dark horse in the EV race.  Hope to see some in Texas soon;-)

Wouldn't this be the state of electric vehicles in Norway? I was full of anticipation about hearing the status on electric vehicles in my home country but it seems this was a bit more up north. Laughing

I would like to be on the show sometime to discuss the state of electric vehicles in the netherlands because politicians here say they want to make the Netherlands the proofing ground for europe.

Hope to hear from you.

Matthijs

The Th!nk video is awesome.  Great production values.  These are a talented group of video artists.

I have seen the video before, but I had to watch it again today.

I would love to have you on the show. There will be an email shortly. And sorry for confusing the countries. How terrible of me.

Nikki,

That would be amazing! No problem on the country switching, but I kept wondering the first minutes how the skandinavian orientated guest Mister Bones could update me on Dutch EV news. Smile I am going to attent the "schoner vervoer toer" http://www.schonervervoertoer.nl) (Dutch) on September 20th in Amsterdam. (Car free day) and can report my findings there. There will be a lot of electric vehilces like a Tesla Roadster, Smart ED and much more. Love to hear from you soon.
