Hi guys! As usual, enjoyed the show- and what a show it was! You can tell Eestor news is slow (well, non-existant right now)- Fred's interview, which, while very interesting, is still an interpretation of a 3rd hand report- not a big deal, really- but it has caused quite the fire-storm on theestory! I personally did not hear it, but a couple of posts even think that you, Bo, and Ryan dissed the Eestory posters- OI! What a mess! It's kind of scary when you guys are the sole voice of reason;-)
Your other interview was interesting as well- as much as we would all like the EV story to be full of 'puppies and rainbows,' it is not- and confronting the issues of problematic products and bad customer service will only help the EV industry in the long run.
It's still only April, but I can almost taste the Volt and Leaf rollouts at the end of the year- starting to get a little exciting! My only concern is that both companies are being slow to educate the public about their upcoming EVs. Though with only a limited rollout this year, which will probably be snapped up by the green early adopters who already know, perhaps Nissan's and GM's caution is warranted until somre real-world experience can be shown by these early adopters. Okay- now I am just going in circles playing devil's advocate with myself!

Saw your posts on theeestory today, Bo- see! You're getting sucked into this story like the rest of us whack--, er, eestor enthusiasts;-)
Regarding the GM-volt.com http://bit.ly/cjKpxr article:
I appreciate the involvement of Dr. Lyle Dennis of GM-volt.com. Anyone attacking his integrity does so at their own peril.
I stand by my report of the conversation I had with the source.
Thank you to all of you that have stood beside me during this controversy. Particularly Karlm and Spaceballs, you guys are sharp and good people to work with. Thank You Paul Cummings you are always reasonable and standup guy. Thank you, Bo and Ryan for the courage to take on a controversy and for entertaining the theeestory.com crowd.
I will continue to be open to the truth about eestor. eestortruth@gmail.com is available for anyone that has info that they want forwarded to the eestor community.
A test of my spiritual practice is whether or not insults affect me. Generally, insults don’t bother me whether from Bo or Mr. Blogger. However, since Blogger (as he emphasized in his aggressive phone call to me) is the financier of theestory.com, I would suggest that his moderation of the site take on more civil approach. Even though I am a white guy, I find this post and many similar posts (which are still on the site) offensive, “I will reserve my judgment until after but I do have a rope and a large tree.” I am thankful that so far the many threats against me were merely talk. The eestor community is obviously intelligent. Hopefully, B can lead the crowd to be accepting of opposing ideas without personally attacking each other.
I would be lying if I did not admit that doing the interview work and its results were stressful to me. I do believe that it will be worth it, particularly if eestor fails to produce a workable product. For all of you that have speculated about my motivation, here it is. At least us EV advocates are making a stand against being distracted from the difficult work of worldwide adoption of electric transportation technology by outrageous claim makers.
I talked to the guy. He told me frankly about his view of the situation. I called him out the blue he did not have time to make anything up. He didn't even like electric vehicles, but he did know a lot about Eestor. IMHO through his relative of which he spoke fondly. And after he thought about it or got more current information from his relative he was (during Lyle's interview) even less willing to say it would come to market. He was more specific about the obstacles eestor was encountering. He said that they had money left for a shorter period of time.
This guy claims to have no ill will for his relative and yet spills his business to the world? This is not a good relative, why didn't he just go on Jerry Springer, it would get the same effect. I have some relatives I wouldn't care to hang out with and I still wouldn't air there garbage in public.
