The situation with Better Place is very interesting. Among the EV enthusiasts, no one things this model makes any sense. It seems to only add costs to the EV experience. On the other hand, a lot of governments are throwing money at Better Place as if it is the greatest idea ever. What do these governments see that I don't see.
Another point. What is going on with Better Place? When will we see the first Renault vehicles rolling of the assembly line and driving around in Israel or Denmark? At least if they could deliver EVs to the marketplace, then that would be something positive. But so far, Tesla is the only one to deliver EVs.
