This week on the EVcast's EV Power Hour we talk to NEDRA world record hold Jonathan Belak. For those of you who think that you could never win a world record, think again. There are enough NEDRA categories and classes where, if you put your mind to it and a little bit of gumption, you just might come home with a NEDRA record. Check out the Power of DC's website for all of the activities and records set at this years Power of DC. We also talk about what it is like to be an electric vehicle entrepreneur, Tom Hanks as EV inspiration and more.

I love the line... "And ... uhhh..... It's (the Alias) going to be ready very very soon..."

Yep, very soon indeed.  I feel a press release coming on.

In more bad news, I hear Fisker is delayed again.  Apparently getting $500M in government loans doesn't help too much if it can only be used to cover 80% of the cost of a project.  That means you still have to get someone to loan you about $100M which apparently is more difficult than you might think.  Brotha' spar some change?

Didn't they shoot that video two years ago?

Great pod cast, enjoyable to hear the discussions on the world of electric vehicles. There is always something new to learn. I agree with Jon Belak, it’s going to be the little companies or one of the unknown EV manufactures that are going to be successful in the market over the next 10 years. Larger vehicle manufactures must make part commitments years in advance smaller companies can change quickly with the new technology.
