Today on the Power Hour we talk to Mark Hanson, EV home builder extraordinaire who has converted over 6 vehicles to electricity, has a 5kw solar array at his home, wind turbines as well, a solar powered boat and probably the worlds only poop-thermal heat pump system in existence. Founder of the Renewable Energy Electric Vehicle Association, Mark and his fellow club members help each other out in putting up solar panels on each other’s homes. Check it out.

Thanks for the show, Joseph and Eric- Mark is quite a character, isn't he!  But doing some amazing things with EV and Renewable energy for the home user.  I cannot find the link right now, but one of the threads on another site (I think it was theeestory.com site) talked a bit about Renewable Energy Co-ops, with the idea of spreading out the costs of installing solar panels- not quite DIY, but liked the idea of small communities working together to bring about positive change and making the costs palatable.

When I read through the list of links, at the bottom was "Article by Mark Hanson: No cause to fear turbines".  My first thought was gas turbines as used for natural gas generating stations.  When I clicked on it, I realized he was referring to wind turbines-- then I understood what the intention of the article was, and was interested to read it.

Mark: Just to avoid confusion for other readers here, you may want to change the title of the article to "No Cause to Fear Wind Turbines".

Your work and efforts are much appreciated, Mark.  Thanks.
