This is a quick song about my EV struggles. Enjoy. Listen first, read lyrics later.
I read about Fisker, just the other day-
It goes 50 miles on electric they say
I asked to see the car, they said wait till May-
well that's not very long so hip hip hurray,
I gave'em my order, and five grand too,
They said, "you're gonna have your car - soon",
You're really gonna have it soon
And it's been several months and it's now past June-
They don't have a clue and-it's-not very soon-
When's it gonna be now?
They don't know when - but you'll get-your-new-car then-
We'll get you your Fisker then
Fisker turned four just the other day-
"Can I get my car now I am willing to pay?"
They said sorry, Bo but not today
We got some more do, I said "that's OK"
And I -walked away but my smile never dimmed
I said, -"gonna' have my Fisker soon,- yeah"-
I'm gonna drive electric soon
And it's been two years and it's way past June-
They still don't have a clue and-it's-not-very soon-
When's it gonna be now?
They don't know when,- but you'll get-your-new-car then-
You know you'll have your Fisker then
The years have passed,- time has slipped away-
Fisker called me up just the other day--
They said, "Thanks for the wait, you've been so kind,
Your car is in, let's get these papers signed"--
I said I got bills to pay- and I got-things-to-do,
But it's sure nice hearing from you, yea-
It's sure nice hearing from you
And as I hung up the phone- I grabbed my key
'Cause I bought a Nissan Z
I bought a Nissan Z
'Cause it's been too long and it's way past June-
I'm cruzin' in my Z while i'm singing' this tune-
I ran out of patience
And I don't know when, but I bought-my-Nissan then, yea-
I bought me a Nissan then
(Note: this is based on my true experience, but I have not given up on Fisker yet! I have not bought a Nissan Z -- that was the only car that rhymed. The Fisker Karma is amazing and I will press on -- for the time being.)
