Whipping Out the Wallet...

Saturday, July 19th 2008 @ 10:09 AM    post viewed 1621 times

Back from my west coast trip.  My tour of Tesla and my test ride (they would not let me drive - insurance issues) made it clear to me that I will be getting the Tesla -- but delivery will still be about a year away.

As for the TRIAC, unfortunately, my home state, MA, will not allow this on public roads because it is a three-wheeled covered vehicle.

Early next week I will head down to Rhode Island where the home of the Vectrix is -- the fully electric motorcycle/scooter.  I think this will be a OK interum solution for now.

As for my full-time car, I am leaning to the Fisker Karma.  I will start that process next week.  Still looking that 2010 delivery, but I like that solution better than the Volt, and I think my chances of getting a Fisker sooner would be better than getting a Volt.

would you have purchased the Triac if it were allowed in your state?

The TRIAC was my #1 choice.
