Jack Kuntz is the President/CEO of http://www.ampmotorworks.com - this is the company that is converting the Saturns to all electric. They have been all over the news. Many questions circulating out there about this company and this opportunity. Let's get some answers!

Great Podcast - I enjoyed the interview. I checked out the website - the Sky would made a pretty sweet EV.
Just curious - in your first podcast you mentioned that you are not going to get into the political aspect of EV's - why is that? I think it would be an interesting topic to discuss. It would be fun to hear an interview with a senator or congressman about what they are doing, or what they are opposing & why. Anyway - just a suggestion. I'm really happy to hear that there are others like me - EV fanatics who can't get enough of this stuff.
Oh, another observation - I haven't heard you mention 2-wheel EVs. Will you be discussing motorcycles/scooters? The Vectrix seems to be a viable, refined machine that is available now. There is another company in Colorado launching an EV motorcycle (Volta) that sounds too good to be true.
Keep up the podcast - I'm looking forward to the next one!

Hi Dave,
There are many groups out there who are focusing on the politics and are very familiar with national and state laws. We certainly will mention hot items like major tax breaks for EV owners, states like OH that are not allowing 3 wheeled EVs, and other such "politics".
As for motorcycles, a very small percent of the population would be interested in these, but we will devote the appropriate proportion of the show to them -- just not focus on them. After all, it is the "EV" cast, and not "EC" cast :)
Thanks for sharing what you would like to hear with us! |
