After spending some time responding to the various casts and comments on the blogs themselves, it appears that blog comments aren't considered "feedback?" I spent some time giving some info on the Prius operation, and that seems to have been ignored. I spent some time giving feedback on the $1billion tab for the EV1, and that seems to have been ignored as well. Leaving feedback here is a bit awkward since it isn't tied to any particular show... but is this the best way (and the phone?) It seems that you are sometimes desperate for feedback, and I wonder if what I'm typing just isn't topical enough, or I'm putting it in the wrong place. Edjumicate me, please.
Just checking... as I don't really enjoy just listening to myself type. If I can help, I'd love to. If my comments aren't considered feedback, then I've got some better stuff to do!
Just trying to figure things out - as I'm sure you guys are as well. Thanks! |

Ryan pointed something out to me the other day, and that is we shouldn't waste time rehashing the back and fourth comments in the blogs.... if members were interested, they could just read it. But, there are some comments made in there that are worth pointing out on the show. Given our limited time, we cannot read or address all comments.
As of now, you want comments to be on the show it is close to 100% chance that any voice mail feedback will be on the show... it adds a good dynamic to hear others speak.
All your feedback and others are certainly read and preserved nicely on this site for eternity! Not a waste by any means.
Some of your comments in particular we avoided due to the "argumentative" nature. We are planning a nice feisty show in the future.... ok, I cannot lie. GM paid us $100k not to read your comments. |

Great reply. Answered all my questions. That Ryan is a sharp tack. And I just KNEW GM was behind this!
Hmm. Argumentative. I prefer "blunt." And more often than not "frustrated." And maybe... MAYBE even "compelling." But you betcha. I understand!
I have no burning desire to have the comments on the show - my desire is just in answering some of the questions and/or clearing up some misperceptions. My goal was to fulfill a percieved need of "feedback." And this message was to make sure that need (or want?) still existed. I've got it all sorted out now. |
