I think it would be interesting to hear how fast these low speed ev's can go. I know they come from the "factory" with speeds to 25 mph. i know they can go faster. They are lower cost than ev's that are out now. How much does it cost to speed these bad boys up? Also what would it take to make them legal, and safe?

I've also wondered about this. Cars like the BG electric car look totally safe to drive on the roads where I live. Look at the SMART. That thing is tiny, and probably no safer than half the NEVs out there. Why should it be street legal and the NEVs restricted? Probably just because it's an ICE.
