After listening to Dave describe his regen shocks as a " Game Changer" I thought I'd list a few products that I think might be game changers.

1. An electric field fuel injector- claims a 20% increase in mileage highway 10-15% city also cleaner exhaust. does this by dramatically decreasing droplet size for more complete burn.

2. InnovaTek is testing a hand-sized microreactor that can convert virtually any liquid fuel into hydrogen, producing a portable hydrogen stream for use in adjoining fuel-cells.

If this works no need for storing hydrogen on board no need for a hydrogen infrastructure.

3. Cyclone engine a external combustion engine with the following advantages.

while this engine isn't quite as exciting as some it has an advantage of being a tangible product not vapor-ware

4.   Excellatron's thin film batteries, claims made are twice the energy density, 20x the power density, and 80x the charge cycles of Li ion batteries.

5. Micro bubble technology with their carbon nanotube enhanced Lead acid batteries- 8x energy density, 5 min recharging, and 4x charging cycles of normal lead acid batties would pretty much make these batteries as good as Li ion at a fraction of the price- but even more interesting is the claim that this enhancement can be applied to other battery chemisties with similar results- do this with a Li ion battery and who needs eestor.

6. XP vehicle wild inflatable car- sounds crazy at first but when you read about it more it starts to be a really cool idea- I don't like all the internals the fuel cell with Hot-swap power cassettes sounds a little dicey- my main complaint though is they have this really cool skin technology and their car looks just like a thousand other cars- I'd like to see an updated Buckminister Fuller Dymaxion now that would be cool.Smile

7.Johnson Thermo-Electrochemical Converter System acts like a cross between a fuel cell and a heat engine uses heat the push hydrogen through membranes in a close loop -claims 60% efficiency in converting heat to electricity - in a engine which has no moving parts and can run on any heat source.
